I tried the auto-configure, and manually configures for both POP and IMAP and all of them come with the following message " We couldn't log on to the incoming (IMAP) server. I finally chatted with a live person from AT&T that help me fix the issue. I just wanted to give you a heads-up about the Bellsouth email settings. Here are some simple steps to Fix BellSouth Email Server Settings. 1) - Log in to your account and follow these steps, 2) -Click on Settings under the My Account tab. 3) - Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP Settings in the left-hand navigation menu. This will take you to your Forwarding and POP/IMAP Settings page. 4) - On this page, make sure that both boxes labeled Use SMTP Authentication and Require TLS encryption are checked. Then click Submit Changes at the bottom of this page. This is a message from the Bellsouth server. If you have any questions, please contact us at [phone support].
