Vanaf deze maand zal de Youtube app verdwijnen van dit toestel.

Omdat ik dit toch wel ga missen keek ik al naar alternatieven en kwam ik uit op de Chromecast met Google TV, echter komt deze redelijk duur uit voor wat ik er wil mee doen : enkel youtube filmpjes bekijken nu en dan.

Een oudere chromecast komt niet in aanmerking want ik wil niet mijn smartphone of andere apparaten gebruiken om dit te doen. Daarom gaat mijn voorkeur naar iets met afstandsbediening.

In mijn zoektocht naar andere apparaten merkte ik dat Xiaomi ook sticks en boxes heeft die ik zou kunnen aansluiten op onze TV waar ook een afstandsbediening bij is.

Echter ken ik redelijk weinig van deze producten. Waar moet ik op letten? Welk apparaat zorgt er voor dat ik via de Youtube app films kan bekijken op mijn gewone TV? Zonder streamen, gewoon via de app dus.

Kan ik er van uitgaan als ik iets koop van Xiaomi dat ik binnen een paar jaar niet opnieuw moet wisselen van toestel omdat de Youtube app verdwijnt? Of is het dan toch beter om te investeren in de Chromecast Google TV?

Bij mijn Apple TV had ik enkel reclames voordat een video afspeelde, ik las dat op andere apparaten er soms ook reclame is tijdens het afspelen van een video.

Wat kan ik nog meer met zo'n apparaten? Zijn er apps die ik kan gebruiken om bijvoorbeeld terug te kijken naar programma's op bepaalde zenders (met de chromecast google TV zit daar o.a. VTM go bij geloof ik)? Alles waar ik geen abonnement hoef voor te nemen ; het moet er niet bij maar als ik dan toch een nieuw toestel moet aankopen, vertel het maar wat kan en niet kan 🙂

Deze heb ik met diverse bluetooth apparaten gekoppeld en muziek afgespeeld en dit heeft altijd top gewerkt.

Nu heb ik sinds kort een JBL Flip 5 gekocht waarmee de muziek erg veel hapert, er is gewoon niet naar te luistren. Mijn vriendin heeft een Samsung telefoon en zij heeft totaal geen probleem met de flip 5, alles werk goed. Het haperen doet hij altijd: met Spotify app maar ook bij gebruik van YouTube, als het scherm aan en uit staat, onvergrendeld en vergrendeld. Ik heb bij instellingen gezocht en diverse dingen geprobeerd maar niets lijkt te werken.

Ik heb dit probleem ook alleen bij de flip 5, bij geen enkel ander bluetooth apparaat. Ik dacht eerst dat het aan de box lag maar mijn vriendin heeft hier geen probleem mee.

Kan iemand mij hiermee helpen of eventueel aangeven waar ik dit probleem beter ken leer leggen?

Deze heeft het nooit tot in NL gehaald als ik het goed heb.

Hoe groot is de kans dat Xiaomi alsnog met een soortgelijk toestel komt welke wel in NL verkocht zal gaan worden?

Destijds in mijn zoektocht naar een nieuwe TV hoopte ik dat ik deze hier in NL kon aanschaffen, (kostte toen <  $ 2000) maar dat ging helaas niet door.

Ik heb een andere keus moeten maken, waar ik overigens ook helemaal happy mee ben, maar vroeg mij af waarom er op de NL-site van Xiaomi geen TV's vermeld staan. 

Het promo filmpje welke ik destijds van deze MI TV 4 gezien had, sprak mij erg aan. 

Heeft dit te maken met een specifieke reden dat Xiaomi geen TV's in NL wil verkopen?

Wie kan mij hier meer over vertellen?

In bericht van Blekkie mbt de MI Store in Rotterdam las ik ook al iets over de TV's van Xiaomi, dat deze voor alsnog niet in NL verkocht worden.
